Dallas County Welfare Divison
Dallas County Health and Human Services provides short-term emergency financial assistance to eligible Dallas County residents. DCHHS' program functions as a safety net for indigent residents who are currently medically unable to work. Medical and income verification will be required at your appointment. The county's welfare program is temporary and serves to assist residents until they can return to work or until they are able to gain assistance from other resources.
