Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas is a nonsectarian mental health and social services agency that impacted over 39,000 lives last year. For more than 70 years, JFS has welcomed anyone through our doors regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or the ability to pay.

Chabad of Dallas is founded on the belief that every Jew should have a place to feel at home—welcomed with warmth, authenticity, and belonging. It is a center for Jewish discovery where curiosity is encouraged, and open-minded exploration thrives, regardless of background or affiliation.

Ohr HaTorah Dallas now counts more than 175 families as members and is one of  the city's largest Orthodox Shuls. We are proud of how each member brings his or her own story to our diverse community—such as those who have a multi-generational history at our congregation and those new to the city, of all ages and backgrounds who are seeking a Jewish community – a place to call home.

Shaare Tefilla is an Orthodox synagogue that engages the modern world through the prism of Torah and tradition. The Congregation encourages spiritual growth within a caring and supportive community.

CTC is dedicated to fostering an atmosphere of quiet, focused davening and meaningful Torah learning.
 

Dallas County Health and Human Services provides short-term emergency financial assistance to eligible Dallas County residents. DCHHS' program functions as a safety net for indigent residents who are currently medically unable to work. Medical and income verification will be required at your appointment. The county's welfare program is temporary and serves to assist residents until they can return to work or until they are able to gain assistance from other resources.
